Welcome Home!

Join us for Admitted Student Day on April 5 from 12:00pm - 5:00pm and discover why our 8,200 undergraduate students are ranked among the Top 25 Happiest Students in the nation and see why our campus quickly feels like home.

During Admitted Student Day, you'll have a chance to explore our unique academic programs, meet faculty and staff and hear from current students. Admission counselors will also be available throughout the event to answer your questions on admission and financial aid.

Event Schedules

Your Itinerary for April 5th

During Admitted Student Day, students have the opportunity to choose their own schedule for the day, based on their intended major at the University of Dayton.

Event Sessions
Parking and Check-in

Admitted Student Day will begin at UD Arena, located at 1801 Edwin C. Moses Blvd., Dayton, OH 45417. Parking is available without a parking pass in UD Arena lot A. 

Check-in will begin at 11:00am ET at the South Entry of the arena. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to stop by Meet the Flyers and enjoy light refreshments prior to the start of formal programming at 12:00pm. 

Meet the Flyers

Beginning at 11:00am, before the event kicks off, meet campus offices and student organizations including the Center for Student Involvement, Campus Rec, Global and Intercultural Affairs Center, Pride of Dayton marching band and more.

Admission Welcome and Next Steps

At 12:00pm ET, hear from President Eric F. Spina, staff from the Office of Recruitment and Admission, and current students about your next steps as a Flyer, our commitment to student success, and why UD will be your home away from home. 

Academic Sessions and Tours

Meet faculty and staff and learn more about our 80+ academic programs, featuring academic information sessions from:

  • College of Arts and Sciences
  • School of Engineering
  • School of Business Administration
  • School of Education and Health Sciences

After your information session, view your schedule for opportunities to explore campus spaces, including:

  • Fitz Hall | School of Education and Health Sciences and Fine and Performing Arts
  • Hathcock Hall | Department of Computer Science
  • Kettering Labs | School of Engineering
  • Miriam Hall | School of Business Administration
  • Multi-Ethnic Education and Engagement Center
  • Roger Glass Center for the Arts | The newest campus facility and first building dedicated to visual and performing arts. The Center includes a concert hall, experimental theater, visual arts gallery and Flyer Media  experiential learning studios.

Pick up Flyer spirit items and enjoy complimentary cookies, yard games, and photo opportunities while connecting with other future Flyer families.

Campus Tours

Experience our beautiful campus, including academic facilities, Roesch Library, award-winning dining halls, the RecPlex and Marycrest first-year residence hall. Plan 45 minutes for the tour; last tour will leave at 4:30 p.m.

Housing Tour

Explore a variety of campus housing options, including Founders Hall (first-year residence hall), Marianist Hall (second-year housing) and a neighborhood house (third- and fourth-year housing). Plan 40 minutes for the tour; last tour will leave at 4:30 p.m.
