This is a sample plan of study for students beginning at UD in the 2025-26 academic year. This is a recommended course sequence, but your schedule may vary based on previous earned college credits, course availability, advisor recommendations and your personal goals and interests. First Year

Spring Semester 

• EDT 110: The Profession of Teaching (3 hours)
• EDT 110L: The Profession of Teaching Lab (0 hours)
• HUM 102: Marie Thérèse Seminar (3 hours)
• CAP Math (3 hours)
• CAP Social Science (3 hours)
• Elective (4 hours)

Students should be prepared to declare a major by the end of their first year, and will follow the plan for the selected major.
