Transfer Application Requirements

To be considered for admission to the University of Dayton, transfer students should submit*:

  • Application (including the personal statement). You may submit UD's application, the Common Application, or the Coalition Application.
  • Official transcripts from all high schools and colleges you've attended — even if it wasn't recently.
  • Transcripts should be mailed directly from the institution to the Office of Admission and Financial Aid; hand-carried transcripts, official copies marked Issued to Student and unofficial copies are not acceptable.
  • International transfer applicants must submit course descriptions for all previously completed college courses to receive full consideration for transfer credits from foreign universities.

All application materials should be directed to:

Office of Admission and Financial Aid
University of Dayton
300 College Park
Dayton, OH 45469-1602

Once all required information is received, your application will be reviewed and you will be notified of our decision within three to four weeks.

*The Office of Admission and Financial Aid may request ACT/SAT scores of any applicant.
