9 a.m. Flyer Fun Run/Walk

Starts in front of the RecPlex
Join us for a casual and fun run or walk around campus with fellow alums. There is a three mile course and a one mile course. Feel free to walk, push a stroller or just meander at your own pace. Afterwards, we'll have refreshments for all participants.

9:30 a.m. Donor Recognition and Volunteer Brunch
Dayton Marriott (by invitation only)
This is a special brunch to recognize our reunion volunteers as well as the commitment of our donors and the significant impact their gift has on the university, its students, faculty and staff. The ways in which the University honors annual and sustained support are listed below.

  • John Stuart society
    Honors donors whose lifetime giving totals $100,000 or more.
  • Leo Meyer society
    Honors donors who have a commitment to the University through their wills or other planned gifts.
  • 1850 Society
    Honors donors whose annual gifts total $1,000 or more, including matching gifts.
  • Front porch society
    Recognizes those who make an annual gift to the University for three or more consecutive years.

10:30 a.m. Walking Tour of Campus
Meet near the ground floor entrance of KU next to the fountain
Take a tour of your beautiful campus to see all the exciting changes. Tours are lead by our wonderful student ambassadors.  A second tour will be offered at 1:30 p.m.

11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Brews, Bites and Bands ($5 & pay-as-you-go)

Join us for another great afternoon of food trucks, craft beers and friends! Sponsored by UD's young alumni group, day10, everyone is invite to have lunch with some of Dayton's finest food trucks, local craft beer as well as sit back and relax listening to live music from a Reunion Weekend favorite, Dave and Rae.  There is a $5 entrance fee.  All other food and drink is pay-as-you-go.  The event will happen rain or shine.

12 to 4 p.m.: UD Libraries Open House
Roesch Library
Roesch Library has some exciting changes underway. Stop by for free refreshments from an iced coffee bar provided by Ghostlight Coffee while you check out the plans for Roesch Refresh, the transformational renovation of the first and second floors. A virtual reality tour will give a glimpse of what the new spaces will look like. Come experience the "Zen Den," an art installation created by a 2018 graduate who will be on hand from 1 to 3 p.m. to chat with visitors about her inspiration for the piece. Be sure to check out "The Prints of Benjamin Miller," a display of poetic and spiritual woodcut prints on the seventh floor in the Marian Library.

Immaculate Conception Chapel
Come see the beautiful renovations and learn of all the intricate details that went into our beloved chapel. Members of the Chapel renovation committee will be present to answer questions. A short presentation on the renovations will be given periodically throughout the open house.

2 to 4 p.m.: SIG Zone
Central Mall
Were you a part of a shared interest group such as a fraternity, sorority, sports group or any other group while on campus? If so, email if your group would like to get together during Reunion Weekend. A cash bar will be available. Each group will also have a group picture taken.

5:30 to 7 p.m.: President's Reception  ($20)
Celebrating the Golden Flyers, class of 1968 and 1973

St. Mary's Hall Tent
Join President Eric Spina for a special reception specifically for the current Golden Flyers along with our newest Golden Flyer inductees, the class of 1968. We also invite the class of 1973 to join in this celebration.

7 to 11 p.m.: Porch Party ($35)
C Lot
This casual event under a tent will give you the chance to mingle with UD alumni from all reunion classes as you enjoy the live music from the popular Reunion Weekend band, This Side Up. You can hang out on a mock front porch and get a picture with your friends with our photo booth. Cost per person includes food, beer, wine and entertainment.
