Reconnect with friends and meet others during the Black Alumni Reunion. Check out the list of events below, including a chance to join a cookout with students and celebrate the first Black graduate of the University of Dayton.

Our Black Alumni Reunion takes place the same weekend as Family Weekend to create a unique opportunity for alumni, students and families to connect and share their UD experiences and insights.

Friday, September 18, 2020

Black Alumni Reunion Check-In and Opening Reception

Check in for the Black Alumni Reunion. Black alumni will spend the weekend connecting with current students while participating in Family Weekend, as well. A formal reception will begin at 6 p.m. to welcome and bring together alumni, students and families.


Saturday, September 19, 2020

Dialogue/ Student Roundtable

Alumni will host a roundtable discussion with UD students. From networking to mentorship, students will share opportunities for alumni to provide support.

Walking Campus Tour

This time will be filled with fun, memories and updates as students and alumni tour campus and visit new and old locations. The concurrent tours will be guided by a Black faculty or staff member.

Ebony Heritage Singers Alumni Choir Concert

Open to campus and the public.

Black Alumni Reunion Cookout

Students and alumni will join together to reminisce and connect. Alumni who are members of a historically Black Greek letter organization are encouraged to wear their paraphernalia.
