Staff, faculty and students are invited to join the MLK Day March to downtown Dayton, which culminates in a rally that celebrates the legacy that Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. left for civil rights in America. Sponsored by the Center for Social Concern, Campus Ministry and the Office of Multicultural Affairs.

MLK SOCIAL JUSTICE PLUNGE

The MLK Plunge will explore the history and current state of racial and economic segregation in Dayton.  We will also learn about the nationally recognized “Welcome Dayton” initiative to become an immigrant-friendly city. Participants will visit various locations in Dayton and meet with community members to gain insight into the present and how to advance justice in the spirit of Dr. King in the future. Cost is $15.
