John R. Schleppi Sport Management Career Enhancement Fund
What is the fund?
This fund assists a student in making the transition from college studies to the work world and is to be used for attending conferences to explore career opportunities. One student will be chosen by a panel of seniors, based on how the applicants best convey their approach. The annual award will be in the amount of $500.
This fund is given to a non-graduating third or fourth year Sport Management student and is to be used to fund the trip to a conference. The individual must demonstrate a desire to enhance their education.
Goal of the fund
To raise $25,000 so that the John R. Schleppi Management Career Enhancement Fund continues in perpetuity.
How to donate
At the University of Dayton, we are committed to providing an education that extends beyond the walls of the university. The Sport Management Program allows students to gain real life experience, which includes attending conferences, working with real companies, and generating opportunities to advance in the sport industry.
Making a donation to this Career Enhancement Fund will help support our students’ opportunities to learn more about and to experience the sport industry first hand.
