Catholic Education Summit, 2013

On Friday, July 12, 2013, more than 200 participants and presenters from 19 states gathered at the University of Dayton for the Catholic Education Summit. Among these were a broad range of stakeholders including teachers, principals, superintendents, university students, philanthropists, legislators, community members, advocates, mental health therapists, social workers, an NCEA official, and families. Together, they explored Urban Catholic Education: Meeting the Needs of ALL Learners through 26 presentations. Throughout the day, 11 virtual sites maintained ongoing live feeds of opening and closing ceremonies and keynote addresses. Participants insights, opportunities for networking, and research questions are being compiled and will be distributed in a report by the end of August.
