Profile

Kathleen M. Webb, M.L.S. served as Dean of University Libraries from 2006 to 2024. In that capacity, she oversaw the Roesch and Marian Libraries as well as the University Archives and Special Collections and the International Marian Research Institute. She served as interim Dean of Libraries in 2005 and directed the Libraries’ Client Services division from 1998-2005. She has held leadership roles with local and regional library organizations including OhioLINK and the Government Documents Roundtable of Ohio. She worked at Sinclair Community College and the Dayton Metro Library before coming to the University in 1993. She has written and presented on a variety of topics including web site development, library technologies, and most recently, on the use of academic library spaces and its impact on learning.
