Profile

Tim Nevius is an associate director of enforcement at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).  While at the NCAA, Professor Nevius has led some of the highest profile enforcement investigations and presented several cases to the NCAA Division I Committee on Infractions. Prior to joining the NCAA, he worked as an associate attorney in the global finance department at DLA Piper in Chicago, where his practice focused on large commercial finance transactions.

Professor Nevius graduated first in his class from UDSL in 2006 and served as an executive editor of the University of Dayton Law Review. He also participated on moot court and founded the Sports and Entertainment Law Society. As an undergrad at Dayton, he was a member of the varsity baseball team and graduated with magna cum laude honors in 2003. He was recently accepted to Columbia Law School, where he plans to earn his LL.M. degree.
