Profile

Jonathan Hollingsworth has developed an excellent reputation as a commercial litigator representing businesses and high net worth individuals. He has practiced in the areas of general civil, business/commercial, consumer, personal injury, employment discrimination, trademark litigation and legal/medical malpractice litigation. He has operated J. Hollingsworth & Associates since 2005. He began his career at Porter Wright, and later became a shareholder in the firm of Washington & Hollingsworth.

Professor Hollingsworth is president-elect of the Ohio State Bar Association and will take office as OSBA president in July 2013. He is a former president of the Dayton Bar Association, has served on the OSBA Board of Governors and chaired the board’s Membership, Public & Media Relations and Publications Committee. Currently, Professor Hollingsworth chairs the OSBA’s Advisory Council on Diversity Initiatives. He is also a past chair of the Board of Commissioners on Grievances and Discipline for the Supreme Court of Ohio and has served on the court's Task Force on the Code of Judicial Conduct and the Task Force on Rules of Professional Conduct.

He has also taught Negotiation and Dispute Resolution in the Graduate Management Program at Antioch University Midwest.
