Profile

Dr. John Erdei received his Ph.D. from the University of Cincinnati in 1983. He joined the University of Dayton Department of Physics the same year. Dr. Erdei was the director of Premedical Programs from 1999 to 2005, and an assistant dean in the College of Arts and Sciences from 2005-13.

Faculty perspective

"I have greatly enjoyed the times I have worked with the Department of Physics, the Premedical Program and the Office of the Dean. These roles have allowed me to truly appreciate the quality of our students. I have always found that UD provides a rich environment for student-faculty interactions in the science disciplines as well as in pre-health care."
