Faculty perspective

"I have taught at UD since 1978, and bring to my teaching the experience of having earned a living at many diverse activities within the music profession, including performance, teaching, and running a music business. I believe that in order to survive in the professional world, music students need to have many skills in addition to the ability to play their instrument, including public relations, marketing, business, and a professional attitude which will be essential for a successful career. This is what I attempt to develop in my students in the music department."
