Our knowledgeable and caring transfer team is here to walk you through each step of the transfer process.

All transfer students are automatically considered for scholarships — including transfer scholarships, Academic Excellence Awards and more — when you apply for admission using the Common Application or UD's application.

Transfer application deadlines are:

  • Fall term: February 1 (Early Action) or July 1 (Regular Decision)
  • Spring term: December 1
  • First summer session: April 15
  • Second summer session: May 15

We want to make sure that your prior coursework counts toward both your associate's and bachelor's degrees. To do that, we work closely with community college partners.

UD Sinclair Academy

The UD Sinclair Academy, a partnership with Sinclair College, provides an affordable way to earn a four-year degree. The Academy offers more than 70 pathway majors, along with generous financial benefits.

As a Catholic, Marianist university, our mission is to educate the whole person. But not everyone can pursue a bachelor's degree on a full-time basis. You might be a transient student from another school who wants to take a UD course and transfer back.

The University of Dayton has just the right part-time programs for you.

Degree Seeking Part-Time Students

The Adult Degree Advancement Program is designed for a student 24 years of age or older who is thinking about completing a bachelor's degree at a discounted rate. Day and evening classes are available.

Non-Degree Seeking Students

Academic Enrichment Studies is designed for any non-degree seeking student including transient/visiting student who wishes to take UD courses of interest.
