Christmas on Campus

Christmas on Campus Visit Day

Those who claim Christmas comes only once a year haven't been to the University of Dayton. Each year, as part of Christmas on Campus, students "adopt" local school children and treat them to candy and cookies, carnival games and prizes, jugglers, storytellers, singers, dancers and musicians. Thousands of lights decorate the student neighborhood, people sing carols and ooh and ahh at the tree lighting ceremony. And they give thanks for the Feast Day and all the joy, hope and spirit of giving it creates.

And this year, you're invited to be part of the magic. During our Christmas on Campus Visit Day, on Friday, December 7, you can learn about admission and financial aid, discover academic opportunities available to you and participate in one of the biggest nights of the year.

Schedule of Events

Friday, December 7

3 p.m. — Admission and financial aid presentation
3:30 p.m. — Academic session
4 p.m. — Campus tour
4:45 p.m. — Light meal
5:30 p.m. — Christmas on Campus opening ceremony

After the opening ceremony, you are invited to participate in the Christmas on Campus festivities.

In the spirit of giving, the Office of Admission and Financial Aid is hosting a winter accessory drive (gloves, hats and scarves) and will donate the items to children who arrive at Christmas on Campus without them. If you would like to participate, feel free to bring an item to donate (optional).
