Reunion Weekend FAQ

What are the dates of Reunion Weekend 2015?
Reunion Weekend 2015 is June 12-14.

What classes are celebrating a reunion this year?
The classes celebrating a reunion this coming summer are the Golden Flyers, 1965, 1970, 1975, 1980, 1985, 1990, 1995, 2000, 2005 and 2010.

When will I get information regarding Reunion Weekend?
Registration for Reunion Weekend will be mailed after the first of the year. If you are celebrating a reunion in 2015, you will receive information in your mailbox. If you are not part of a reunion year but would still like to attend, please e-mail the Alumni Relations office at reunion@udayton.edu to be included in this year’s mailings.

What events are planned?
Check out the schedule of events for all planned events. Check back often as the schedule might change.

How do I register?
Online registration for Reunion Weekend will begin on Monday, March 23 at Noon ET. Registration information will be mailed to you after the first of the year. If you are registering online, you will simply need to come back to the Reunion homepage and you will see a register link closer to that date. Please note that if you would like to register for on-campus housing, you can only do so by registering online.

Where/when do I check-in and get my tickets?
Welcome packets that include your event tickets will be available for pick-up starting on Friday, June 12 in the Kennedy Union lobby any time after 12 p.m.. Packets will be moved to your Friday night class party location about a half hour before the start of your party. Then packets will be back in the Kennedy Union lobby all day Saturday.  Tickets will not be distributed any earlier than Friday of Reunion Weekend.

Do you accept walk-ups to the events?
Although we do accept walk-ups at all events, we ask that you try to pre-register as we want to be sure we order enough food and drinks for everyone. Please note that if you plan on registering for events the weekend of Reunion Weekend, there will be an additional $5 charge.

Is on-campus housing available?
On-Campus housing is available. Please check out the housing page for additional information.

Who is coming to reunion?
For a list of those from your class that have registered for Reunion Weekend, please check back after registration opens.

Where can I park?
All parking lots on campus will be available to Reunion Weekend attendees starting on Thursday, June 11 – Sunday, June 14. No parking pass is needed and no tickets will be issued as long as you are parking in a valid parking spot.

We had an unexpected change in plans, can we get a refund?
For event tickets, partial and full refunds are available on or before Sunday, June 7, 2015 by sending your request via email to reunion@udayton.edu. Following this date, no refunds will be given as we need to confirm food, beverages and seating.

If you still plan on attending Reunion Weekend, but need to change or add an event, you may do so online or by calling Alumni Relations prior to Monday, June 8, 2015. After this date, please come see us in the KU lobby starting at Noon on Friday, June 12, 2015 or you may pay at the door of the event. Please note that during Reunion Weekend, there will be a $5 increase in the price for events.

For on-campus housing refunds, full refunds are available on or before Friday, May 15, 2015 by sending your request via email to reunion@udayton.edu. Following this date, no full refunds will be given as we need to prepare the rooms for your arrival.

Please note: Upon checking out of your on-campus housing room, you will be asked to return all keys and/or access cards to the front desk. If you fail to return all keys, you will automatically be charged a $100 lock change charge. Failure to return an access card will result in a $10 charge. This is a safety issue for future guests and students. Please be aware of this, and hang on to and return your room keys!

By choosing to stay in an on-campus room, you will be responsible for any damages to the room during your stay. Your card will be charged for the full amount of damages.

Is transportation available to and from the airport?
The University will not be running a shuttle to and from the airport. If you are staying at one of the local hotels, please contact them to see if you can arrange transportation or visit the Dayton International Airport's website.

Shuttle service is available between campus and three local hotels throughout the weekend.

What do I wear to the various events?
Friday night and Saturday day events are casual. The Saturday night Dinner and Dance is dressier meaning a sport coat and tie for the men and skirt, dress or dress pants for the ladies. Please keep in mind the ever changing summer Dayton weather, could be chilly and raining one minute then hot and humid the next.
